| The circle of friends that make up Chavurat Emet has grown but remains a close knit community. Our permanent home as of April 2006 is: 11 Oval Drive, Suite 152, Islandia NY 11749 We celebrate monthly Shabbat services and special occasions. We offer engaging adult education programs, and most importantly, we are a supportive community in times of both joy and sorrow . This Jewish New Year we joined together in worship at the Islandia Marriott (3635 Expressway Drive North, Islandia) with services officiated by our spiritual leader, Neal Spevack. Our service is participatory with an expanded choir. Cellist Martha Colby and an accompanist enhance our Kol Nidre observance.
